We all have online websites that sell products of various brands and help us in our shopping from the enduring and elucidated comfort of our homes. There are over a million products on them and if one cannot make a choice from these wide plethora of ranges and brands, then, only God can help them in such a case (which is highly unlikely!). Though they allow for comparison of prices and other attributes of products, there are other factors that allow for complaints of random order from the consumer crowd.
Sometimes things may be out of stock. But, that is besides the point. Though the people are given a good and simple interface for the comparison and choice of better products meeting their requirements and making way for their satisfaction, one cannot escape seeing the blatant loophole in it, where there aren't a lot of options to compare with, as a general perception. As such, one product we see in one site might not find a worthy competitor in the same site, thereby giving us the unpleasant experience of just online window shopping!
But, for a website like Indix, that is a problem that they have demolished with their powerful and wonderful ideological interface of products, ranging across brands and sellers. Indix offers the consumer a better option to compare the prices, make and the quality of products that this world has to offer to them - both in the real and virtual worlds - and makes way for the consumers to be intelligent product-wise and also become aware of the various shortcomings and strengths of being a better consumer.
Indix claims to be the portal for better ways for companies for serve their customer base better, with their innovative and concordant database that offers a wide analysis and report of products all over the world. Their mission to seems to be a really commendable one: "Organise, analyse and visualise the world's product information, so everyone can act on it."
The "everyone" obviously means both the product producer and the consumer, who is the target crows for the producer. And by a better way of providing an integrated and modular interface that allows for product analysis on the part of their companies, Indix offers companies the abilities to compare them with others or with themselves, so that they can act upon their previous mistakes and provide a better product with improvements, to satisfy the customer outlook, and outreach.
Indix was founded Sanjay Parthasarathy and Sridhar Venkatesh in the year of 2012, and it had the backing of Nexus Venture. Their initial aim was to build a database for product analytics for the improvement of companies' product ecosystem. They have about an integrated 800 million plus products in their database that is up for comparison, and it is their aim to reach a humongous 1 billion product collection as soon as possible.
As of now, the statistics that showcase the features of Indix is mind-boggling. They have over 40,000 plus brands, from more than 6 lakh sellers, which show attributes that count up to about 10,000. It is indeed a success story for Indix that, itself, aims to be bigger and better as days go by. For a start up, that aims at harnessing product intelligence from all quarters and circles of this world's business modules, the start up is pretty awesome in itself, with increasing amendments and improvements coming its way for the betterment of the world's product procurement. But, from what it seems like, Indix is as bigger as anything can get! So, off to a time period where product intelligence will be the rule for a business minded world!
