Kohli’s fitness chain aims to score 100 branches by 2018

Virat Kohli, is known as the toughest guy in his business, has stretched his hands to some real business, with 30 p c stake in Bengaluru-based gym chain ‘Chisel Fitness’. The fitness chain launched a year ago has announced major plans to set up 100 branches across India by 2018.
The New Indian Express, reported, “each centre will see an expenditure of nearly Rs 2 crore for set up, as of now, they have two company-owned gym and expansion will be through franchises.”
Satya Sinha, co-founder, Chisel Fitness, shared, that “Our fitness centres are currently set up in Bengaluru and Andhra Pradesh, and we will be opening centres at Delhi, Mumbai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore and Chennai over the next few months."
The portal of Chisel affirms expansion plans via franchise rout, to achieve, “100 centres in India over the next three years”. It also runs instructor training centre to fulfill requirement of trained nutrition consultants and managers.
Meanwhile, Indian cricketers have started their fitness brands. Kohli also launched his own online clothing line "WROGN". However, ‘Captain Cool’, MS Dhoni has pulled up his socks in fitness business by launching ‘SportsFit’ brand in India, Australia Middle East, Singapore and the UK. The operational branches are in Gurgaon, Faridabad, Delhi and Chandigarh. MS recently associated with active lifestyle brand ‘Seven’.

In the same line, hard-hitting cricketer Yuvraj Singh has invested in beauty and wellness platform Vyomo, opener Shikhar Dhawan becomes the brand ambassador of Tennis sensation Mahesh Bhupati’s brainchild apparel brand ‘Zeven’.
